Our inspection plans cover evaluation, testing, and a written report only. Any issues found that do not meet OEM specifications — or that require maintenance or repair — will be documented in your report. A separate estimate for those services will be provided upon request at no additional charge, but repairs and maintenance are not included in the cost of the inspection.

We inspect every major system — roof, electrical, plumbing, appliances, slide-outs, structure, and chassis — and provide a detailed written report of our findings. Our clients routinely use inspection reports to negotiate thousands of dollars off the asking price or require repairs as a condition of sale. It's the smartest investment you can make before buying.
New RV Delivery Inspection
New doesn't mean perfect. RVs are built quickly on assembly lines, and factory defects are far more common than most buyers realize. Dealers perform their own Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) — but even they miss things. Their technicians are moving units, not protecting your investment. Before you accept delivery and drive off the lot, have us perform an independent PDI. We document every defect, operational issue, and incomplete item — while the dealer is still responsible for fixing them under warranty. Once you sign and drive away, the leverage shifts. An independent PDI puts it back in your hands.

What "Starting At" Means
The starting price covers the listed inspection scope and equipment allowance. Additional components, unusual system complexity, difficult access, or specialized testing may require an adjusted estimate. Published add-on rates apply to the plans where they are listed. Additional services require your approval before work begins.
Operating checks require suitable access, utilities, fuel, and conditions. Anything that cannot be safely or meaningfully tested is documented in the report. Hidden damage, inaccessible components, and intermittent issues may require further evaluation.
These plans provide inspection and reporting. Maintenance, repairs, adjustments, replacement parts, and materials are separate services.
Any items found not meeting OEM specifications, or that require maintenance or repair, will be clearly noted in your written report. A detailed estimate for those services is available upon request at no charge — but repairs and maintenance are not included in the inspection price.

Roof & Seals
We walk the entire roof and inspect every seam, vent base, skylight, and penetration for cracks, lifting, failed sealant, and signs of water intrusion or delamination. Roof issues are the most common — and most expensive — hidden problem in used RVs.
Electrical & Charging Systems
We test shore power connections, all 120V outlets and circuits, the 12V DC system, and all interior and exterior lighting. We also verify the converter, charger, and any inverter-charger for proper output voltage and charging stages — a failing charging system can silently damage batteries and leave you without power. We check for unsafe wiring, hot skin conditions, and any signs of DIY electrical work throughout.
Plumbing & Water
We pressurize the fresh water system and inspect all supply lines, fixtures, connections, and drain lines for leaks. We also check the water pump, water heater, and tank valves — and look for any evidence of past water damage in the surrounding cabinetry and flooring.
Awning Operation
We extend and retract all awnings and slide toppers, checking for proper operation, fabric condition, hardware integrity, and any binding or motor issues. Awning repairs can be surprisingly expensive — knowing the condition upfront matters.
Appliances
Every appliance is operated and tested — refrigerator (both AC and DC modes), furnace, air conditioner, water heater, range burners, oven, and microwave. We verify proper ignition, cooling performance, and heating output.
Slide-Outs
All slides are cycled fully in and out while we check for smooth operation, proper alignment, seal condition, and any signs of water intrusion around the slide opening. We also inspect the drive mechanism and listen for any unusual sounds that indicate wear or damage.
Structure & Interior
We check all floors, walls, and ceiling panels for soft spots, delamination, and water staining — the telltale signs of past or ongoing moisture damage. We also inspect cabinetry, doors, windows, and vents for proper fit, function, and any signs of structural compromise.
Exterior & Chassis
We inspect the frame, hitch, coupler, safety chains, running lights, and all exterior storage compartments. We also check for any signs of collision repair, frame damage, or corrosion that could affect safety or value.
Tires — Tread, Date & Condition
We measure tread depth on every tire, read the DOT date code to determine age, and inspect sidewalls for cracking, bulging, or UV damage. RV tires age out before they wear out — an old tire with good tread is still a blowout risk. We document every tire so you know exactly what you're rolling on.
Battery State of Health
We perform a state-of-health test on each battery in the house bank — not just a voltage check. A battery can read 12.6V and still be at 30% capacity. We test actual capacity and internal resistance so you know whether the batteries will last a weekend or need immediate replacement.
Leveling Systems
We cycle the leveling system through its full range — whether manual jacks, electric tongue jack, electronic auto-level, or full hydraulic — and check for proper operation, level accuracy, retraction, and any fault codes or warning indicators. Hydraulic and electronic leveling systems are expensive to repair; knowing their condition before purchase is critical.
Multiplex & Control Systems
We test every switch, button, and touchscreen control panel — including multiplex systems like Firefly, iN-Command, and One Control — verifying that every zone, circuit, and function responds correctly. Multiplex failures can be difficult and costly to diagnose after purchase; we catch them during the inspection.
Suspension & Electric Braking
We inspect the suspension components, axle condition, spring hangers, and equalizers for wear, corrosion, and damage. We also test the electric brake system — including brake magnets and breakaway switch — to confirm the brakes are functional and safe for towing. ABS systems are tested where equipped.
Generator & Transfer Switch
We start and load-test the onboard generator, check oil level and condition, inspect the exhaust system, and verify the automatic or manual transfer switch correctly shifts power between shore, generator, and inverter sources. A generator that starts but won't carry load — or a transfer switch that sticks — can leave you without power at the worst time.
Solar, Lithium & Inverter Systems
We inspect the solar array, charge controller, battery management system (BMS), inverter, and all associated wiring and fusing. We verify the system is producing power, the BMS is communicating correctly, and the inverter is delivering clean AC output. Off-grid systems are complex — a thorough inspection confirms the whole system works together as designed.
Washer & Dryer
We run the washer through a cycle and test the dryer for heat output and proper venting. We also inspect the drain connection, water supply valves, and vent path for blockages or improper installation. A washer or dryer that leaks or vents improperly inside a coach can cause serious water and mold damage.
Aqua-Hot Hydronic System
We inspect and test the Aqua-Hot hydronic heating system — including the diesel burner, electric element, heat exchanger, circulation pump, and all hydronic distribution lines and baseboard zones. We check fluid level, condition, and system pressure, and verify both heat sources are functioning. Aqua-Hot systems require specialized knowledge; we have the training and experience to evaluate them properly.
Entertainment & Connectivity
We test the sound system, all TVs, cable and satellite connections, antenna signal, and any built-in streaming or Wi-Fi hardware. We verify all remotes and control inputs are functional and that the system operates correctly on both shore power and battery. Entertainment systems are often overlooked — we make sure everything works before you're parked at a campsite.
